Continental!

I'm still convinced that Continental Airlines is the best way to fly domestically.

I flew to San Diego this week, in a nice new 737-800 where they served food and showed a movie. My coworker flew American in an aging MD80, no food, no movie.
I lounged in the Continental President's Club, which has free Wifi and hot bagels during breakfast. Here in San Diego, I'm using a Delta Crown Room where there are no bagels and you have to pay for the Wifi. (I'm looking at a sign that says "Delta voted Airline with Best Lounges" and I wonder how much they paid to Business Travel Magazine for that )

Continental, definitely still the only way to fly!

UPDATE after the last segment: I sat for 3 hours on the runway in Houston because it was raining, waiting for the 29 minute flight to Austin. Jinx!</b>

There is *one* thing I like about AA; the non-automatic upgrades. Why? Because there's less demand for first that way, so I'm more likely to get my upgrade. Granted, I've had to spend some of my own money to buy upgrades in the past, but it's well worth it.

But yeah, it seems like you're less likely to have asshats in back on COA, and the planes and amenities are definitely nicer (god, every other elite club is a fucking joke). I do wish the coach seats were more comfortable for someone my height, though... :/

I *HATE* Continental.

I have yet to get on a flight that isn't delayed for over 4 hours.

I'll tell you my woeful christmas story and last year's almost not getting back into the country. Continental, their agents and Houston airport - they all suck.

Reload to see the update to my story :(

By the way, how do Continental agents make you not get back into the country? Isn't it the Immigration service's job to make your life miserable in that respect?

I don't think any airline is worth a crap anymore but given the choice I tend to favor Continental. I -hate- AA; they've screwed me so many times.

Please some airline, give me a choice to pay a bit more and be treated like a human instead of cattle (you know, like 10 years ago). I'd pay out of my own pocket to make up the difference even for business trips if it isn't -too- unreasonable.
