But... please think of the children!

And the list of items for which you must show ID to buy them gets longer:

  • Sudafed nasal decongestant
  • Spray paint
  • and today: Compressed air (I use those cans to clean a computer case)


I guess this "old geezer" can use this information to figure what the kids are doing these days to get high. Never knew you could sniff compressed air...

I wanted to buy some compressed air a while ago to clean something. The clerk at the store looked at me like I'd just flew in from Mars. "Compressed air in a can?" Apparently such a thing doesn't exist here.

I bought Pseudoephedrine near Boston last week without as much as a second glance! It was on the shelf and I didn't even need anyway. However, I was so amazed it wasn't behind the counter, I had to buy some. No ID check or anything.
